LONG, Billy, a Representative from Missouri; born in Springfield, Christian County, Mo., August 11, 1955; attended, University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo., 1973-1974; Missouri Auction School, 1979; businessman; business owner; radio commentator, 1999-2006; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Twelfth Congress (January 3, 2011-present).

Billy Long got to Washington and forgot he was fed up and decided he was above the Constitution. Upon getting to office, Long turned over an enemies list to the FBI to have is critics investigated and intimidated. Long then pushed for the Patriot Act extensions ignoring warnings of their violations to the Constitution. As Long claims to be fiscal responsible in a time where Republicans compromised, Long still voted to continue federal funding of NASCAR teams. As well, Long promised voters he wasn’t going to Washington to scratch other peoples’ backs, but after a $5000 donation to the National Auctioneers Association PAC, Long admitted he dropped the bill to create National Auctioneers Day after the National Auctioneers Association called him. That same day, Long met with the national golf lobby and pushed to recognize National Golf Day as well. Long isn’t fed up with Washington. Long is Washington.
Billy Long is a fed up joke.
