Bio: Newton Leroy “Newt” Gingrich, born Newton Leroy McPherson; June 17, 1943, is an author, and political consultant who served as the 58th Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 1999. He represented Georgia’s 6th congressional district as a Republican from 1979 until his resignation in 1999.     I think Newt Gingrich has a lot of experience with politics, and a lot of knowledge about the various players. I just watched a video interview where he discussed the situation with former Presidents Bush and also Mitt Romney stating that they are withholding support for Donald Trump if he’s the nominee. I have actually voted for all of them in the past, although I didn’t agree with Bush senior’s one world philosophy, but though the was better than the alternative at the time. Many voters have made compromises in the past when voting for these candidates, so as not to split the party vote, and I believe it’s incumbent upon all three of them to support Donald Trump as a candidate if he is the nominee.

    Not sure why Newt ran for President in 2012. I don’t think his poll numbers were ever that high, due to the issues he had in his personal life over the years.
