The United States and China alone make up two of the world’s largest economies and strongest militaries. While the two counties maintain a civil relationship at the time being, there’s always a chance that could change in the future. While both are strong countries, just who would win if the two were pitted against each other?
In terms of press freedom, the United States dominates China ranking 10th worldwide. In comparison, China only has a freedom rank of 139. China also falls behind the US in terms of education. On average, 99 percent of the adults in the United States are literate compared to only 92 percent adults living in China. Most students drop out of school earlier in China as well, averaging only 12 years while Americans attend 16.
What China lacks in education and freedom, they make up for in sheer number and strength. The population of China is over 1.3 billion. This means that there are five times as many troops in the Chinese military than there are in the US.
