Representative Dennis Heck (D-WA10)

Dennis “Denny” Heck (born July 29, 1952) is the congressman-elect for Washington’s 10th congressional district. Heck served as Chief of Staff to Washington Governor Booth Gardner from 1990-1993. Previously, he was Majority Leader of the Washington State House of Representatives and Chief Clerk of the House. He founded and served as CEO of TVW, the state equivalent of C-SPAN.  Read more…

    Personable, funny guy judging from his campaign. I’m just not sure he lived up to his campaign slogans of giving congress heck. I’m just paraphrasing here, I don’t remember the exact quote. He is one of these guys that is noisy on the campaign trail, but fades into the wall when he gets elected. It could just be lack of media coverage, but if he was really giving anyone in Washington DC heck, why hasn’t it made the news?
