By shoveling earmark funds into the Johnstown area (an area I love), he assures himself of being elected for life. This surely is not what the Founding Fathers could have foreseen. When reading and reflecting on the Federalist Papers, I wish we could now have people with their character, not what John Murtha represents in Pennsylvania.
