Addison Graves Wilson, Sr., most commonly known as Joe Wilson (born July 31, 1947), is a Republican politician from the U.S. state of South Carolina. He was a former U.S. Army lawyer, South Carolina State Senator (1984 – 2001), and since 2001 has represented the state’s 2nd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives.
