Teague, Harry (D-NM-3rd) Rep.

Harry Teague ran for and was elected to serve 8 years on the Lea County Board of Commissioners. Though the commission was controlled by Republicans, they voted him chairman for three and a half years. While a commissioner, Harry took the lead in bringing the racetrack and casino and the uranium enrichment facility to Lea County. Over the past decade, Harry has helped create over 3000 jobs. Ben Ray Luján represents New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District in Congress. As a member of Congress, Luján has supported job creation, worked to build a clean energy economy, fought to provide health care for more New Mexicans, and stood up for consumers by cosponsoring the Credit Cardholders’ Bill of Rights.

Throughout his career, Tom has earned a reputation as a principled leader who has the integrity to do what is right for New Mexico and our nation.

Born to Stewart and the late Lee Udall in Tucson, Arizona on May 18, 1948, Tom’s roots in New Mexico are deep. His grandmother Louise Lee was born in Luna, NM during territorial days and was part of a ranching family in what is now Catron County.
