Kilroy, Mary Jo (D-OH-15th) Rep.

Representative Marcia L. Fudge is a committed public servant who brings a hard-working, problem-solving spirit of determination to Congress and to the task of creating jobs, attacking predatory lending, and improving health care, small business, and education. These characteristics were honed as Warrensville Heights’ first African American female Mayor.  As the city’s top executive, Representative Fudge led Warrensville Heights in building 200 new homes and shoring up a sagging retail base. Driehaus, Steve (D-OH-1st) Rep.

A fiscal conservative, Representative Driehaus was the sponsor of legislation that would force a review of the billions of dollars that Ohio foregoes in “tax expenditures.” He served on the Finance and Appropriations, Insurance, Public Utilities and State Government and Elections committees in the State House. In addition, Steve served on the Governor’s Foreclosure Prevention Task Force and the Clean Ohio Council.  Representative Driehaus was named legislative “Rookie of the Year” by the Cincinnati Enquirer during his first term, and was named “Legislator of the Year” by both the Ohio Association of Elections Officials and the ARC of Ohio in 2007. Boccieri, John A. (D-OH-16th) Rep.

Congressman Boccieri is a Major in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. As an aircraft commander aboard the C-130 Hercules, Boccieri deployed in four rotations to Iraq and Afghanistan in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

Representative Boccieri served eight years in the Ohio Legislature and one term as the fourth ranking Democrat after being elected by his peers to the post of assistant minority whip. Kaptur is the most senior Democratic woman on the influential House Appropriations Committee. Kaptur also serves on the Appropriations subcommittees for Agriculture (the leading industry in her state) and Transportation, Housing and Urban Development. Kaptur also sits on the Appropriations subcommittee for Defense where she is the first Democratic woman to be appointed to the subcommittee, the only woman presently on the subcommittee and the third-ranking Democrat on the subcommittee.
