John Andrew Boehner (born November 17, 1949) in Reading, Ohio. Boehner is currently serving his 10th term in the U.S. House of Representatives for the 8th district of Ohio. Boehner and his wife, Debbie, have been married for 35 years and have two daughters, Lindsay and Trisha. As a member of the Republican Party, Boehner has fought for more accountability in the government. He has also been an advocate of freedom and personal security. Boehner is also a known for his efforts in education reform.
On November 19, 2008, Boehner was elected by his colleagues as the House Republican Leader for a second term. Boehner believes that the Republican Party can take the majority again by following the key beliefs of the party. Among these beliefs, Boehner feels that freedom, security, finding better solutions to current issues surrounding the public and establishing a smaller government.
